Hatch Stamping Company is seeking a PLC Programmer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure the efficient operation of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PLC programs based on project requirements
• Troubleshoot and debug PLC systems to ensure proper functionality
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate PLCs into larger systems
• Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
• Overseeing the successful installation of PLC programs.
• Documenting development processes.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates on existing PLC programs
• Provide technical support for PLC-related issues

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 3 year's experience as a PLC programmer.
• Electrical and mechanical engineering experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical processes to understand industrial equipment operations
• Proficiency in CAD and AutoCAD software.
• Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages.
• Ability to detect and resolve issues in PLC programming
• Experience in fabricating electrical components
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and voltmeters
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
