Job Title: PeopleSoft Senior Developer (with API Webservices knowledge)
Job Type: Full-Time/Contract *This role is a 6-month assignment.
Job Salary: $65.98-$70.69/hour *dependent on experience*
Job Schedule: M-F, 40 hrs/week
Job Location: Houston, TX 77002 *hybrid schedule determined by Manager/Supervisor
About the Project:
Integrate PS T&L system to a 3rd party Time collection and scheduling application for few of the agencies/Departments within the department. The integration must ensure all the time entries adheres to the department's HR and Time policies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This role would seek a Senior Professional who possess a strong skillset in developing integration solutions for ERP ( PeopleSoft) using Technologies such as: API , Integration Broker Technology etc.
- Utilize PS Time and Labor design knowledge to develop API solutions that would ensure data transfer/exchange occurs seamlessly between systems via APIs
- Implementing and Testing API Solutions: Ensuring APIs function correctly, perform well, and meet security standards.
- Developing Data Transformation Pipelines: Creating pipelines to convert data formats and structures between different systems for seamless exchange via APIs
- Must be Process oriented and follow Project Management guidelines.
- Well experienced with designing High-Level Technical design process flow diagrams
- Conducting rigorous testing: Performing unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure the functionality and reliability of ERP solutions.

- Unit Test plan/test scenarios
- Execute/complete testing
- Coordinate/Conduct Regression with Functional Analysts

Requirements
Requirements:
- API Development and Integration:
- Designing, building, and integrating RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between the ERP system and other applications (e.g., SaaS, On-prem, mobile apps etc.)
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#), with a solid understanding of data modeling and database management (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
- Experience with API management tools and best practices for API security and performance.
- Technical Leadership:Guiding technical design sessions, providing guidance from a technical and Design end, contributing to the team's knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Identifying and resolving technical issues within the ERP system and its integrations with Cross-Functional teams.
- Techno-Functional Experience is highly recommended to best suit this role.
Preferable:
- Experience with integration of 3rd party Time collection devices to PeopleSoft Time& Labor module (File based, API, etc.).
- Techno-Functional experience with TL Data reporting requirements using technical skill in areas like SQL, data analysis.
- Overall knowledge and understanding of HR and Payroll for NA module is a great plus.
Pay: $65.98 - $70.69 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
