Position Summary

The Network Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing advanced network solutions with a strong emphasis on wireless, cellular, and IoT technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, project management experience, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

· Sales Support – Assist the sales team in pre- and post-project phases by evaluating customer needs, recommending solutions, and ensuring successful deployments.

· Network Engineering – Design, implement, and manage wired/wireless networks, integrating with existing infrastructure and/or delivering complete turnkey solutions for complex systems with high availability and security.

· Wireless & Cellular Solutions – Must possess a strong understanding of wireless technology standards and protocols (802.11), with knowledge of cellular technologies such as 4G LTE, 5G, Private 5G, IoT, and CBRS considered a strong plus.

· Training & Application Support – Provide training and internal application support for sales, technical teams, customer stakeholders, contractors, end users, and troubleshoot issues.

· Deliver daily customer support by handling technical support calls, emails, and assisting with applications, ensuring clear and effective communication.

· Project & Collaboration – Lead or support network projects, working cross-functionally to meet technical and business objectives.

  • Issue Resolution: Expertly address and resolve complex problems escalated by support tiers, covering both cloud-based and local infrastructure issues.

Required Technical Skills

· Comprehensive knowledge of network fundamentals, including LAN/WAN and SD-WAN technologies, TCP/IP protocols, and Layer 2/Layer 3 switching. Skilled in managing core infrastructure services such as VLANs, STP, RSTP, ARP, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, FTP, and Syslog to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable network operations.

· Deep understanding of routing protocols such as RIPv2, OSPF, EIGRP and BGP

· In-depth understanding of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax wireless networking standards, including advanced features such as MU-MIMO, beamforming, channel bonding, and security protocols (WPA2/WPA3).

· Hands-on experience with Windows Server and SQL environments is highly desirable.

· Proficient in configuring and managing Cisco and Fortinet networking equipment.

· Skilled in firewalls, VPN technologies, and network access control solutions.

· Knowledge of cellular technologies, including LTE, 5G, and IoT device connectivity.

· Familiarity with cloud environment within AWS or Azure

· Strong troubleshooting abilities with a methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving.

· Must have Strong documentation and organizational skills

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent AWS experience.
  • Strong wireless, cellular, and IoT technology expertise.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, CompTIA Network+) is a plus
  • Experience in mobile video network integration is a plus.

Education & Experience

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of network engineering experience, including enterprise-class routing, switching, wireless, firewall, and server management.
  • Proven experience leading or contributing to multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
