SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading software company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and platform reliability. This role will work closely with software development, QA, security, and IT operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and scaling of our products. THIS IS A FULL TIME ROLE. JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and optimize application and infrastructure performance across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and enforce DevSecOps best practices, including vulnerability scanning and secrets management.
- Build and maintain container orchestration environments (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).
- Manage observability stack (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, CloudWatch) and incident response workflows.
- Support development teams with tooling and automation for testing, deployment, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with product, security, and development stakeholders to ensure compliance, uptime, and scalability.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps standards and governance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
- Strong experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficient in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure automation tools. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools like Argo CD or Flux.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Understanding of networking, D NS, and security principles in a cloud-native environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the US. No sponsorship.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, Terraform Associate)
- Experience with multi-region or multi-cloud deployments.
- Familiarity with policy-as-code tools (e.g., OPA, Sentinel).
- Prior experience in regulated environments (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR) is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $140,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
