We are seeking a highly motivated Programmer to join our team and drive innovative technology solutions that support our operations. In this role, you will develop, implement, and maintain software systems that enhance our production processes and ensure operational excellence. Your expertise will help us optimize our IT infrastructure and develop scalable applications aligned with our business goals.

JOB TITLE: Programmer

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Superintendent

The following statements reflect the general duties, responsibilities and competencies considered necessary to perform the essential functions of the job and should not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements of this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and test software applications using languages such as Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create system architectures supporting service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices.
• Implement solutions involving ETL processes for data integration and management across diverse databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL systems.
• Develop RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems.
• Conduct debugging, system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and threat intelligence analysis to ensure robust information security.
• Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Git for efficient software delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, Rust, and scripting languages like Bash or Shell Scripting.
• Knowledge of web development frameworks such as React Express along with API development using RESTful services or SOAP.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Fast paced office setting and 10- 15 % Production
• Business-casual office setting

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit in front of a computer or at a desk for greater than 8 hours per day.
• Ability to bend and stoop as needed.
• Speak clearly to other office personnel, management, employees and outside personnel.
• Maintain personal office area; i.e., keeping desk clean, papers organized, etc.
• Noise level in the office environment in quiet to moderate.
