Job Overview
Seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology operations and support team. This role oversees all aspects of IT infrastructure, security, and end-user support across multiple locations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with company standards. The IT Manager will supervise the Helpdesk Administrator and work closely with department leaders to deliver efficient, secure, and user-friendly technology solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operations
● Lead day-to-day global IT operations, providing direction and mentorship to the administrators and support staff.
● Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures aligned with corporate goals and security requirements.
● Manage IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, software deployments, and system migrations.
● Oversee the ticketing system, ensuring timely issue resolution and high user satisfaction.
● Coordinate IT asset lifecycle management including procurement, inventory, and disposal.
● Develop, document, and maintain IT controls aligned with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 frameworks.
Systems Administration
● Maintain and optimize the organization’s hybrid IT environment (Windows, macOS, and cloud systems).
● Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and related identity management integrations.
● Oversee endpoint management tools such as Intune, JAMF, and MDM systems for compliance and performance.
● Ensure robust patching, backups, and recovery practices across all systems.
● Manage and maintain systems for both on-premise and cloud (AWS) infrastructures.
Network & Security
● Manage networking infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networks) to ensure uptime and performance.
● Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls, endpoint protection, and access management policies.
● Coordinate with third-party vendors and managed service providers to maintain secure and efficient operations.
● Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with company and industry security standards.
Strategic Planning & Budget
● Partner with leadership to define IT roadmap, budget, and resource planning.
● Evaluate and recommend new technologies and services to improve operational efficiency.
● Develop metrics and reports to track IT performance, uptime, and project progress.
● Manage and maintain vendor relationships
Qualifications
● 5+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
● Proven experience managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and macOS environments.
● Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs) and security principles.
● Hands-on experience with endpoint management platforms (Intune, JAMF, or similar).
● Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage vendors, and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
● Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
● Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Skills
● Experience with Azure AD, Google Workspace, and SSO/SAML integrations.
● Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
● Background in scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation.
Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
