Job description
Technical, Business & Role Skills:
- Associates degree in Computer Technology or Equivalent work experience is required
- 8+ YoE-Strong experience in Technical Leadership & Execution: Provide expert technical direction, architectural guidance, and hands-on coding support. Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions are delivered on time
- Deep proficiency in MSSQL 2012 to 2022
- 2+ YoE in server hardware design and best practices
- 2+ YoE with Microsoft domain networks
- Proactivity & Problem Solving: Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve potential technical roadblocks and inefficiencies before they impact project timelines
- Result Orientation: Define clear, measurable technical goals aligned with business objectives and relentlessly drive the team to meet or exceed these targets, ensuring maximum business value
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with IT/Ops, Customer, Engineering, QA, Managers and other stakeholders
- Strong working knowledge on ITIL framework practices and process, required expertise mainly on Problem and Incident Management
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines without compromising close attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrated strength in oral and written communication, presentation skills, and stakeholder management
- Effective time management skills ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Self-driven with ability to quickly learn technology and eager to stretch their skills
- Proven ability to lead complex projects to successful, on-time completion.
- Eager to learn other technolgies such as MySQL and Teradata
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's overall database strategy
- Define and drive a strategy for database performance.
- Proactively monitor usage trends and forecast future resource needs
- Identify, evaluate, and implement automation tools and scripts
- Establish, document, and enforce database standards, best practices, and security policies
- CoachingLead, mentor, and coach DBAs team members.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for database-related matter
- Provide expert guidance on database design and SQL code review
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
