Location: Buford, GA (On-Site | Makita Corporation of America)

Makita Corporation of America is currently looking for a Network Database Administrator to join our team.

Scope:


Under the guidance of the Vice President of Logistics, responsible for Lotus Notes database conversion to Microsoft Outlook, and the support of the company’s local area network.


Responsibilities
:


  • Manage the security of Information Systems company assets
  • Maintain the security requirements for cybersecurity and related topics
  • Manage user access to meet the employees' needs and the security requirements of the company.
  • Administer antivirus, malware, and spam products, utilizing McAfee and Trend Micro
  • Manage and maintain network backups and recovery systems
  • Maintain documentation processes for the activities related to Information Systems.
  • Manage IP networking infrastructure, including LAN and WAN configurations
  • Support other departments by analyzing data using tools such as SQL, Excel, and Source Data Tool (SDT), and Microsoft Power BI
  • Manage and support other departments to automate repetitive tasks using robotic process automation (RPA)
  • Provide end-user training and support
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to support Information Systems improvement initiatives


Qualifications
:


Required:

  • Excellent knowledge in managing and maintaining a Windows network environment with Active Directory and PowerShell
  • Experience in the administration and development of Domino/Lotus Notes and Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to manage and maintain virtual servers in VMWare
  • Knowledge of Veeam backup and replication software
  • Experience in IP Networking, WAN, and LAN
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
