Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Systems Specialist to join our technology team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in IT support, computer management, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining and troubleshooting various IT systems, ensuring optimal performance across the organization. You will work closely with senior IT staff to support end-users and contribute to the seamless operation of our IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Administrate and optimize Telephony, CRM, and other business software to improve efficiency.
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, networks, and business applications to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and network equipment.
- Resource Allocation and asset inventory management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating to vendors or higher-level support when necessary.
- Collaborate with business units to understand system needs, improve workflows, and recommend technology solutions.
- Manage system user accounts, permissions, and security settings in compliance with company policies.
- Perform repairs on company hardware.
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Analyze system performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Provide end-user training and create user guides for business systems and applications.
- Deploy hardware and software setup for all user onboard/offboard in all business systems and software solutions.
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and cost savings.
Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field/experience.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (for data entry and reporting).
- Basic troubleshooting of hardware and software skills. COMPTIA A+ or Networking+ certification a plus.
- Experience with Telephony, CRM, and cloud-based business applications.
- Knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and IT support best practices. COMPTIA Security+ a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Accurate data entry skills, with attention to detail.
- Experience using spreadsheets for data collection and organization.
- Ability to clearly communicate issues and solutions to other team members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to document daily activity in a concise and accurate manner.
- Able to work well in a team environment and assist where necessary.
- Familiarity with RingCentral a plus.
- Ability to gather, organize, and analyze feedback from end users to identify pain points or areas for improvement.
- Comfortable with surveys or feedback forms for collecting information
- Experience coordinating with vendors for services, SaaS, IT system updates and troubleshooting.
- Ability to support teams as they onboard Salesforce, providing basic assistance with usage and navigation.
- Flexibility adapting to changing business needs and work schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends.

Pay: $33,280.00 - $37,440.00 per year
