About the Job

We are seeking a dependable Cleaning Professional to maintain cleanliness and safety in our headquarters and busy printing press facility. This role includes working around large printing equipment and ink while ensuring you do not disrupt manufacturing staff during production periods.

This is an in-person role based in Garden City, NY, with an immediate start date.

Flexible hours, including evenings.

Responsibilities

Press Room Cleaning

• Clean around large printing equipment safely and without interrupting operations.
• Sweep and mop press room floors; remove paper scraps, ink residue, and debris.
• Wipe down equipment exteriors and workstations.
• Empty trash and recycling.

Office Cleaning

• Vacuum carpets; sweep and mop floors.
• Clean desks, counters, conference rooms, hallways.
• Clean and restock restrooms.
• Clean break rooms and kitchens.
• Empty office trash and recycling daily.

General

• Follow all safety rules (training provided).
• Communicate with supervisors to time cleaning around production schedules.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly.

Requirements

• Cleaning experience preferred (industrial or manufacturing experience a plus but not required).
• Comfortable working around machinery, ink, and high-activity environments.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Reliable, trustworthy, organized, and able to work independently.

Work Environment

• Active printing press room with noise, equipment, and ink.
• Office environment includes editorial, sales, and administrative staff.
• All safety training and personal protective equipment provided.
