Job description
Role: Lead DevOps Engineer with GCP Terraform
Location: Charlotte, NC | Bay Area, CA | Chandler, AZ | Iselin, NJ (Onsite)
Technical Skills
· Infrastructure provisioning using tools Terraform.
· Must have good knowledge of GCP services e.g., composer, BQ, Dataplex, Bucket, GKE Cloud Function, Cloud SQL, etc.
· Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
· Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment processes.
· Maintain and improve container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
· Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place.
· Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
· Experience with CI/CD tools (Harness and GitLab CI).
· Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
· Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
· Preferred: GCP DevOps / Terraform Certification
Soft Skills
· Effective communication and documentation abilities
· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
· Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Cloud Engineers, Network, Production Support)..
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
