Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Layout Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in translating project plans into precise physical locations on-site. Your expertise will ensure that heavy civil construction is built accurately according to engineering drawings and specifications, setting the foundation for successful project completion. Responsibilities

• Interpret detailed construction drawings, schematics, and GPS models to determine exact layout points and alignments.
• Utilize survey equipment such as GPS devices and land surveying tools to collect accurate site data.
• Conduct land surveys and data collection activities to establish reference points, benchmarks, and control networks.
• Implement layout plans on-site using hand tools and heavy lifting techniques while adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction crews to ensure precise excavation and placement of fills according to schematics and design specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of measurements, data analysis results, and site conditions for project documentation and quality assurance.

Skills

• Strong understanding of geometry, algebra, and math principles essential for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Basic understanding of tablet operations and computer skills.
• Experience with land surveying techniques including GPS positioning and data collection methods a plus but not required.
• Skilled in using hand tools and heavy lifting equipment safely within construction environments.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics and construction drawings accurately a plus but not required.
