Job Title: Firmware Engineer - In this position, you will be joining the Server Management Firmware team at the Join Innovation Center. This is a collocated development team at the Client Hillsboro, Oregon campus. Successful candidates will have experience in embedded architecture, external interfaces, product constraints, along with ability to develop architectures/features that meet these constraints while providing new value for the platform. Qualified candidates will have knowledge of source code development, review and maintenance (C/C++), and unit and system level test and verification. Qualified candidate will also have experience in low-level programming, system architecture, operating systems, device architecture, and hardware design, including FPGA, CPLD development. - 5+ years of experience in Client architecture and/or micro-architecture with knowledge of processor, chipset, memory, I/O-subsystems, and bus protocols - 5+ years of experience in C development in an embedded environment - 5+ years of experience in multithreaded environment such as Linux* and ThreadX* or other RTOS - 5+ years of hands on experience in source-level debugging, I2C, oscilloscope and/or bus analyzers Additional Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with IPMI specification is a plus - Experience with FPGA, CPLD development - Experience developing and testing under Linux environment - Experience in Agile and Scrum methods - Knowledge of enterprise LANs, WANs, WLANs, VoIP and other networking technologies required - Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSFP, MPLS, IPSEC, and other networking protocols

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
