Description
Our client is currently seeking ServiceNow Technical Consultants to join our team full-time. To enhance our ServiceNow delivery capability, our client is looking for high caliber, multi-dimensional ServiceNow delivery experts with proven skills in assisting organizations in adopting IT Asset Management best practices and optimizing them on the ServiceNow platform. Successful candidates will have experience running multiple IT Asset Management (Hardware & Software) projects from start to finish, including workshop delivery, requirement gathering, and development. As a member of the our client project team, the Technical Consultant will be working with our clients to assess current state processes and tools, define ServiceNow solution requirements and tailor ServiceNow in alignment with these requirements.
While this team member will specialize in IT Asset Management, we value platform versatility so expertise in core areas of the platform like IT Service Management, CMDB, and Performance Analytics will allow the successful candidate to operate across multiple disciplines.
This position is remote, and candidates can expect to work during normal business hours associated with their local time zone. <20% travel is expected with a goal to keep travel at a minimum.
Responsibilities
- Assess current state processes and tools, define ServiceNow solution requirements, and configure ServiceNow in alignment with these requirements
- Assist with the creation of stories, documentation, and technical knowledge transfer activities
- Configure, customize, and code all areas of the IT Asset Management product line, including Hardware Asset Management Professional, Software Asset Management Professional, Procurement, CMDB, Client Software Distribution
- Collaborate and contribute on the creation, deployment and maintenance of technical best practice and standards
- Work to develop, design and own technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will provide administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support by using good practice web programming
Required Qualifications
- Certified Systems Administrator
- 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience
- 2+ years of ServiceNow IT Asset Management experience
- Experience leading in at least two full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations involving IT Asset Management
- Excellent understanding of implementation methodologies/SDLC (ex. Agile Scrum, Waterfall)
- ServiceNow Certifications for System Administrator and CIS HAM and/or CIS SAM is required, additional certifications including those under the ITOM Product Line would be preferred
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
