Overview
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for creating efficient, high-quality applications. This role involves working on various projects that require collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining applications while ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

Duties

• Design, develop, and implement robust Java applications that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
• Utilize frameworks such as Ruby on Rails and React Express to enhance application functionality.
• Develop RESTful APIs for seamless integration with other services and applications.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Write clean, maintainable code while adhering to best practices in software development.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain documentation for application development processes and technical specifications.
• Work with databases such as MySQL and SQL to manage data effectively.

Experience

• Proficiency in Java programming language; familiarity with C#, Python, C++, or VBA is a plus.
• Experience with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts and cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub or SVN.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Experience developing applications on Linux environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) principles is advantageous.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
