UI/UX Developer-1515:
On behalf of our Energy client, Procom is searching for a UI/UX Developer for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s San Antonio office.

UI/UX Developer-1515 - Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Developer to support the Digital Residential Experiences Squad product development in the Evolve/Digital Experiences Program. This role involves creating ADA-compliant web and mobile experiences and collaborating with full-stack development teams to deliver modern digital workplace solutions.

UI/UX Developer-1515 - Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement accessible user interfaces across web and mobile platforms
  • Create semantic, standards-based HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that meets WCAG and Section 508 compliance requirements
  • Convert UX designs and wireframes into functional components within JavaScript and Java-based environments
  • Support and enhance customer-facing design systems, including components, templates, and accessibility improvements
  • Perform accessibility testing and remediation across frameworks and digital assets
  • Collaborate with analysts, developers, designers, and architects through the full SDLC
  • Participate in usability reviews and UI testing activities

UI/UX Developer-1515 - Mandatory Skills:
  • Strong hands-on front-end development experience with one or more frameworks such as React, Vue.js, Angular, or similar
  • Proven experience developing ADA-compliant and WCAG-aligned web applications
  • Experience designing and implementing responsive UI solutions
  • Familiarity with accessibility platforms and scanning tools (e.g., Siteimprove or similar)
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technical users

UI/UX Developer-1515 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Certification or formal training in UI/UX or web development
  • Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments
  • Strong focus on accessibility remediation and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance
  • Experience advising designers, developers, and content authors on accessibility standards and best practices

UI/UX Developer-1515 – Assignment Length:
The assignment is 18-months.

ASAP.
