Overview:

Under the supervision of the Assistant Administrator-CFO, the Business Information Analyst is a hybrid role that combines financial leadership with oversight of the Pool’s IT systems. This role is responsible for assisting the CFO in managing the Pool’s financial strategy, budgeting, and reporting, while also overseeing IT infrastructure, system integrations and cybersecurity. The Financial Technology Analyst requires a deep understanding of financial principles alongside the technical expertise needed to manage the IT environment, ensuring all systems work in harmony to drive Pool success.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the CFO with financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Assist the CFO with oversight of office operations, processes and procedures, communications.
  • Manage the implementation, optimization, and integration of Pool information systems.
  • Manage system upgrades, implementations, and automations to enhance financial and claims reporting, forecasting, and other business processes.
  • Liaise with external IT Consultant to manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments, and to ensure the optimal performance of critical IT systems.
  • Oversee system security, data backups, disaster recovery planning, and cyber security initiatives.
  • Ensure the smooth integration and interoperability of various systems across departments
  • Collaborate with department heads to align IT systems with their operational needs and business goals.
  • Lead system optimization projects aimed at improving efficiency and reducing operational costs.
  • Maintain the integrity of information in internal databases.
  • Oversee vendor management for IT services.
  • Provide strategic leadership on IT matters, advising senior management on potential technology investments and upgrades.
  • Perform related or additional work as required.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, systems administration, or financial systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • In-depth understanding of financial principles and accounting processes.
  • Proficiency in system integrations, automations, and business process optimization.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and experience with both hardware and software systems.
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Highly motivated, logical, efficient, with keen attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,749.89 - $77,978.37 per year
