Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re hiring a UX/UI Accessibility Designer for a fully remote opportunity with a leader in healthcare. This is a 2-month contract to start, with potential for extensions through the end of the year.
In this role, you’ll join a collaborative UX team focused on simplifying content and designing accessible, user-friendly digital experiences. You will take ownership of UX and UI design projects from concept through execution, ensuring accessibility standards are met across all deliverables.

UX/UI Accessibility Designer Responsibilities:
Lead UX and UI design efforts from concept to execution for web and digital products.
Champion accessible design principles to ensure compliance with WCAG and inclusive usability for all users.
Analyze user behavior to inform interaction design and navigation logic.
Create intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
Collaborate closely with content strategists, developers, and stakeholders to deliver a cohesive story across design, content, and structure.
Simplify complex information into digestible, user-friendly formats.
Maintain and evolve design systems to ensure consistency and scalability.
UX/UI Accessibility Designer Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio demonstrating visually compelling and user-centered design work.
Proven expertise in digital accessibility (A11y) standards and best practices.
Deep understanding of UX principles, human-centered design, and content strategy.
