Job Function

The IT Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operation of manufacturing systems and daily business activities. This role includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, securing data and networks, and supporting systems. The IT Administrator ensures system uptime, enhances operational efficiency, and supports the integration of technology with manufacturing processes to improve productivity.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creating user accounts and performing access control.
  • Provide end-user training on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
  • Design and implement efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
  • Provide equipment and support for Sekisui PCs to meet the needs of the company.
  • Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
  • Provide advanced IT support plant wide.
  • Provide support for specialized manufacturing systems (PLC interfaces, ERP).
  • Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
  • Provide overall network administration and work with IT Engineer to provide network administration to plant.
  • Update and maintain on-prem physical and virtual servers with security and operational updates.
  • Maintain connectivity and security between IT and OT networks.
  • Recommend new servers and other equipment as necessary within the capital investment process.
  • Recommend retiring old servers and other equipment when useful life has been achieved/exceeded.
  • Coordinate with engineering/production teams to minimize downtime during upgrades.
  • Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
  • Provide Firewall, Web filter, and other security devices/systems to ensure a secure computing environment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CMMC, or manufacturing-specific IT/OT security guidelines).
  • Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
  • Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures. Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
  • Evaluate and recommend third-party IT services or solutions.
  • Ability to balance day-to-day support with long-term strategic IT planning.
  • Excellent communication skills for working across production, office, and management levels.
  • Adhere to on-call rotation to support 24/7 operations

  • 5- 10 years of advanced IT support/administration experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Zero Trust SAP is desirable
  • High level of attention to detail and customer service mindset.
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT related or general business-related field.
  • Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
