Cloud Architect

Location: Remote | Full-Time

Cloud Architect- Design and implement Azure Landing Zone for new applications and provide access to subscription and resource group levels with security considerations. Design and configure Azure subscriptions, Accounts, Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, Azure network settings, DNS settings and resources secure locks. Deploy Azure IaaS virtual machines (VMs) and Cloud services (PaaS role instances) into secure VNets and subnets. Design and implement Dedicated Cloud Account for Databricks considering Public/Hybrid subnet (CIDR) and Environments (Dev/QA/Prod). Analyze and troubleshoot Azure platform-related incidents, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Collaborate with support engineers to escalate and resolve complex issues that require in-depth technical expertise. Document support processes, solutions, and troubleshooting steps to contribute to the knowledge base and enhance overall team efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of Azure services. Maintain Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep, PowerShell scripts, and other automation tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management. Implement and enforce security best practices for Azure infrastructure, including network security groups, firewall rules, access control, and encryption mechanisms. Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies, tools, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for improving infrastructure automation and DevOps practices. Participate in cross- functional team meetings and contribute to technical discussions, development efforts across multiple teams and areas of responsibility, and infrastructure planning. Support Azure services for RBAC, PaaS Configuration, Security and Networking. Convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Offered wage: $140,000/yr. Benefits: 2 weeks PTO and medical ins. Work site: Relocation for long- and short-term projects to various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. is required.
