IT Analyst Principal – Enterprise Data Manager
Salary: $128,534 – $156,233 DOQ

Solano County’s Department of Information Technology is seeking an Enterprise Data Manager to lead its Data Management team and guide development of the County’s Data Lake and Synapse Analytics environment. This pivotal role oversees enterprise data acquisition, transformation, and integration initiatives using the Azure toolset, ensuring clean, accurate, and secure data across multiple divisions and countywide applications.
We’re looking for a forward-thinking and collaborative leader with deep expertise in data governance, master data management, and modern cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will bring advanced knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, and Power BI, along with strong skills in report writing, dashboard development, and statistical tools such as Python, R, and SAS. A successful candidate will also be motivated, entrepreneurial, and skilled at building partnerships across Health & Social Services and other departments, while embracing best-practice frameworks like DMBOK, PMBOK, BABOK, ITIL, and SDLC.
