We are seeking a skilled Cloud Resiliency Engineer / Architect to support our clients in enhancing the reliability, continuity, and recoverability of their cloud environments. This role focuses on Microsoft Azure, disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resiliency, including designing and evaluating Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and improve cloud infrastructure and resiliency processes end-to-end
- Design high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions in Azure
- Develop and evaluate Major Incident Response Plans aligned with business risk tolerances
- Collaborate with technical and executive stakeholders, providing clear recommendations
- Support business continuity planning and incident response coordination
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud solutions
- Strong knowledge of Azure architecture, including Availability Zones, backup, recovery, and monitoring
- Familiarity with cloud-native resiliency patterns and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methods
- Experience with business continuity planning and incident response coordination
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Technical consulting or assessment delivery experience preferred
- Ability to obtain Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, ITIL Foundation, or Azure Administrator Associate certifications within 3-4 months of joining if not already certified
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
