  • Oversee the physical infrastructure of business systems—servers, networking hardware, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals to ensure reliable performance, secure provisioning, and scalable support across field and office environments.
  • Manage software environments including operating systems, productivity suites, and specialized applications, with a focus on licensing compliance, patching, and user experience.
  • Provide strategic oversight of cloud-hosted platforms, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and third-party SaaS tools, ensuring availability, scalability, and alignment with QuestCom’s operational needs.
  • Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity management solutions to streamline access, enhance security, and support role-based permissions across enterprise and smart building platforms.
  • Lead the development of structured support protocols and helpdesk workflows designed to uphold a 99%+ system uptime standard, ensuring responsive, high-quality service for internal teams and field technicians. This includes proactive monitoring, clear escalation paths, and consistent follow through to minimize disruptions and maintain operational continuity across QuestCom’s digital and physical environments.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align IT infrastructure with business continuity planning, cybersecurity standards, and future growth initiatives.

Smart Building Systems Integration

  • Architect and deploy operational networks for building automation systems (BAS), access control, video surveillance, and energy platforms to ensure secure, scalable, and interoperable infrastructure across QuestCom clients and projects.
  • Lead the integration of cloud-based smart building solutions, enabling real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and centralized control of HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
  • Ensure cyber-physical security across OT environments, including network segmentation, secure remote access, and threat detection protocols.
  • Collaborate with electrical and low-voltage teams to align IT/OT infrastructure with QuestCom’s smart building strategy and field execution.
  • Serve as a client-facing technology advisor, translating complex systems into clear, actionable strategies that support building performance, sustainability goals, and long-term operational efficiency.
