Job description
Tolland Eye Care has been serving Northeast Connecticut for nearly 2 decades! We now have an immediate opening for an experienced Licensed Optician.
In this position, you will assist and educates patient with their selection of eyeglass frames, lenses, and lens enhancements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Coordinate with the patient to find the best eyewear fit and choice for their lifestyle.
2) Lens edging, lab finishing, and dispensing.
3) Repairs and adjustments for eyeglasses.
4) Troubleshoot eyewear issues.
5) Arrange and maintain displays of optical merchandise.
6) Perform administrative duties such as tracking inventory and sales, and submitting patient insurance information.
Hours are Monday 8:30-5; Tuesday 8:30-7; Wednesday 8:30-5; Thursday 8:30-5; Friday 8-11:30
Minimum 5 years experience required.
