We are looking for caring people to help Seniors live their lives independently in their own homes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping
• Household management
• Walking assistance
• Eating assistance
• Errands
• Transportation using client's vehicle or your vehicle
• Meal planning and preparation
• Laundry and linen changing
• Bathing assistance
• Dressing assistance
• Toileting
• Medication reminders
• Monitor Alzheimer's & Dementia clients
• Assist client to and from bed
• Assist client throughout the day/ night

Qualifications

• 6 months previous experience (preferred, not required)- In Home Care or Facility Care
• Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level.
• Ability to drive to get to work.
• Valid driver's license with no serious driving violations and current auto insurance.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations.
• Pass a criminal background check prior to employment with Senior Helpers.
