Revel Staffing

Las Vegas, NV

Job description

A confidential, cutting-edge defense technology organization is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to own and scale its internal IT infrastructure. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for IT operations, security, and compliance—partnering closely with engineering and operations leadership to support a fast-growing, mission-driven team.

What You’ll Do

  • IT Operations & Infrastructure

    • Manage and maintain all internal systems, services, and hardware in a Mac-first, cloud-native environment.

    • Administer tools such as Google Workspace, AWS, Slack, Jamf, and related SaaS platforms.

  • Security & Compliance

    • Implement, monitor, and continuously improve IT security policies and controls to meet federal standards (including CMMC).

    • Own security audits, remediation plans, and policy updates.

  • Internal Support

    • Provide hands-on technical support to a distributed team; troubleshoot hardware, software, and access issues.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related questions and escalations.

  • Tooling, Automation & Vendor Management

    • Oversee software licensing, renewals, and vendor relationships.

    • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement across IT workflows.

  • Onboarding & Offboarding

    • Run end-to-end IT onboarding and offboarding: account provisioning, access control, hardware shipping, and remote MDM deployment.

  • Documentation

    • Create and maintain clear documentation for IT processes, assets, architecture, and security procedures.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience as an IT Manager (or similar role) with full ownership of infrastructure, ideally in a start-up or remote-first environment.

  • VantageClear Certification or equivalent security/compliance credential required.

  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud-based systems (AWS, Google Workspace, Slack, etc.).

  • Advanced understanding of IT security principles, tools, and best practices, including endpoint protection and identity/access management.

  • Experience with remote device management and endpoint tools (Jamf, Hypori, or similar).

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, HR, operations, and finance to design and enforce technical procedures.

  • Excellent communication skills and comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency required to meet federal export and security regulations.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Competitive base salary + bonus opportunities.

  • Mission-driven work supporting the defense and security sector.

  • Hands-on exposure to cutting-edge cloud security and federal compliance frameworks.

  • A true ownership role where you can build, shape, and scale IT infrastructure from the ground up.
