Overview

Cage Undefined is seeking a passionate and skilled volunteer web designer to support the animal rights movement through thoughtful, impactful digital design. We’re a collective of activists building modern infrastructure to empower vegan and animal liberation efforts.

What We Do:

We collaborate with changemakers and organizations across the movement, offering:

• Custom websites, apps, and digital tools
• Digital and print design services tailored to advocacy needs
• Hosting and cloud services with privacy in mind
• Secure, encrypted email infrastructure — all for free

Your Role:

As a volunteer web designer, you’ll help shape the visual experience of the movement. You’ll work on:

• Designing websites and digital tools for vegan and AR-aligned organizations
• Enhancing the UX/UI of our internal platforms and public-facing site

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in Figma and UX/UI design principles
• A strong personal alignment with veganism and animal rights
• A proactive mindset and collaborative spirit
• Availability for a minimum of 2 hours per week (flexible)

We are ethical animal rights activists with valuable skills that we coordinate to effectively bolster the animal rights movement in any way we can. We are working towards a world where cages cease to exist, where no living being dies unnecessarily, suffers oppression, or is abused in any way. We hope that one day, all cages are not only eradicated but that the definition of cages doesn’t even exist in our vocabulary.

We believe that a cruelty-free future requires a radical reimagining of the tools we use to fight for it. By harnessing the power of technology, we are building a stronger, more connected movement for animal liberation.
