Job description

IT firm in Norwalk, CT in search of an experienced and savvy systems administrator to join our team. Our clients are mostly law, accounting and investment firms in Fairfield County and New York City. Fluency in all matters of technology, with a specific focus on security, is crucial. We employ a variety of tools to keep our clients ahead of the bad guys—this means knowing the latest solutions as well as what's on the horizon.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day support to users
  • Implementing client projects and deploying new technologies
  • Developing new offerings, evaluating and refreshing existing ones
  • Responding to security, backup, and other device alerts
  • Collaborating with colleagues and owners to improve client experience
  • Maintain daily documentation by entering time and expenses using Connectwise and Nilear

A successful candidate should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of IT support work, ideally within another MSP
  • Ambition. Willingness to go the extra mile goes a long way here, and you'll be rewarded for it, financially and professionally
  • Superior troubleshooting/diagnostic skills - you should be able to quickly assess and resolve a situation, so as to minimize client inconvenience
  • Exceptional communication and organization skills and an enthusiasm for client satisfaction
  • Professional appearance, pleasant demeanor

We roll out many of our own solutions, so you’ll find yourself deploying systems that we implement and have full visibility over. We work on a lot of tech in house – including PBX solutions, videoconferencing products, backup, security and file share solutions. You will get to evaluate and build solutions that our clients will love. You’ll create tools and scripts that can make life easier for you and your colleagues. 

We don’t require extensive travel or weekend work. Our client environments run smoothly and projects are well managed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
