Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator — Microsoft Intune Specialist
Location: Hybrid Remote | Occasional Travel (~15%)

**POSITION OVERVIEW**
This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for a seasoned Systems Administrator (5+ years in IT support, preferably within an MSP) who will serve as our **go-to Microsoft Intune expert**. You’ll lead tenant configurations, manage endpoint deployments, automate onboarding, and support a broad range of client IT infrastructures — with a heavy focus on Microsoft Intune, M365, and modern cloud-based tools.
**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Lead Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) deployments: Autopilot, compliance policies, app packaging, device profiles, security baselines
- Automate tasks using PowerShell for user onboarding, system diagnostics, policy updates
- Configure and manage OneDrive and SharePoint for collaboration, redirection, and backup
- Support and troubleshoot Office 365, Teams, and Outlook integrations
- Deploy and secure pfSense firewalls and Unifi network gear (APs, switches, VLANs, Wi-Fi)
- Architect and manage VLANs for security and performance across client networks
- Implement Azure AD identity controls, Conditional Access, and DNS zone configuration
- Provide expert-level support across Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Perform in-depth root-cause analysis and resolve complex infrastructure issues
- Respond to tickets, maintain documentation, and collaborate with the team on best practices
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- 5+ years in an IT support or SysAdmin role (preferably in an MSP environment)
- Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, M365, and Azure AD
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and diagnostics
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, GPO
- Advanced networking skills: LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
- Experience with pfSense, Unifi, VLAN setup, VPNs, and network security
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong documentation habits and mentoring ability
- Motivated, adaptable, and comfortable diving into unfamiliar environments
**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**
- Prior MSP experience
- Familiarity with: SonicWall, HaloPSA, NinjaRMM, ScreenConnect, SolarWinds Backup
- Experience deploying and supporting hybrid environments (Azure/Hyper-V)

**TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS**
~10% travel — primarily out-of-state clients, with occasional local site visits
