The Database Administrator is responsible for configuring, administering, monitoring, and upgrading specialized hardware and software systems.

Your Challenge:
- Configure and administer Enterprise Databases, ensuring system availability, quality, security, and performance
- Monitor health and performance of hardware and software and adhere to uptime requirements
- Preserve data integrity, ethically handle private data, and enable data distribution to the right users
- Manage and monitor backup solutions to prevent data loss
- Adhere to cybersecurity measures and action vulnerabilities as required
- Support software updates and own hardware updates including operating system patching and upgrades
- Extract, clone, and load data to support Digital Transformation initiatives
- Assist with software applications, integration, or reporting query performance
- Configure intersystem connections, such as LDAP authentication methods
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues to prevent downtime
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure proper system integration and functionality and test changes to configurations
- Establish, maintain, and improve standards and best practices.
What you Bring:
- Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum relevant experience of 5-7 years
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator
- Experience on Linux servers
- Coding/scripting experience highly desired
- Knowledge of version control systems
- Understanding of air gap networks
- Experience with environments running Oracle databases
- Familiarity with ORDS configuration
- Familiarity with Oracle APEX
- Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite or E-Business Suite DBA activities
