IPT Corp located in California, MD is seeking a Data Scientist, Advanced, for the position described below. The position is Telework w/ 3 days on-site in St. Inigoes, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced techniques and analytics applications to transform raw data into actionable insights using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
- Oversee the application of data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Guide the visualization, interpretation, and reporting of data findings, ensuring clear communication of insights.
- May also oversee the creation of dynamic data reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Support and guide junior staff and collaborates with senior team members in applying analytical techniques and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Data Science, or Computer Science
o ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: At least seven (7) years performing work related to the labor category plus any of the following certifications:
- Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate
- Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate
Minimum Previous Experience:
- Seven(7) years performing work related to the labor category
Desired Experience:
- Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate
- Google Data Analytics Professional Certification
Clearance:
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance.
