AWS Solutions Architect | 5+ years | Remote | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking an AWS Solutions Architect with 5+ years of experience to support a public sector client. This is a 5-month contact opportunity.

START DATE: 2/2/2026
HOURS/SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

CORE REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years’ experience as an architect
  • Experience with microservices architecture and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • JAVA
  • AWS Cloud
  • Integration with different systems
  • Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle
  • Advanced knowledge of RESTful API design and integration

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop, manage, design and development of scalable Java-based applications
  • Collaborate closely with senior developers and testers to enhance system performance and maintainability
