On behalf of our utility client, Procom is searching for a Solution Architect - UN for a 1-year contract-to-hire role. This position is a remote position with travel up to 50% depending on client needs.

Job Description:
The Solution Architect - UN will provide technical leadership and enterprise architecture for large utility clients, focusing on building roadmaps and high-level architectural specifications for system implementation and integration programs. The role involves overseeing technical deliverables from requirements through validation, guiding development and QA teams, and ensuring testing quality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop future state roadmaps for utility clients
- Design enterprise architectures for large utility environments
- Create high-level architectural specifications and solution direction
- Lead technical delivery for system implementation and integration programs
- Own technical deliverables including use case development, requirements gathering, specification, validation
- Direct software development and QA teams on architecture and execution
- Create and maintain program and technical documentation for planning and delivery
- Manage and document system configurations and architectural views
- Ensure deliverables are thoroughly tested and meet customer expectations
- Mentor senior and entry-level engineers
- Travel to client sites as needed, up to 50%
Mandatory Skills:
- 8 to 14 years supporting utility consulting or large-scale process and technology programs
- Esri Utility Network experience
- Enterprise architecture, solution design, and technical leadership for utilities
- Systems implementation and integration delivery experience
- Ability to manage architectural specifications, use case development, requirements gathering, specification, validation
- Proven ability to guide development teams and QA personnel
- Experience with Asset and Work Management Systems
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with both DIMP and TIMP platforms
- Experience across both electric and gas distribution programs
