Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This position requires a commitment to delivering personalized care while fostering a supportive environment for clients with diverse needs.

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's overall well-being.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in the client's condition.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal preparation based on dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function, especially for those with Alzheimer’s or dementia care needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Skills

• First aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in group homes or assisted living facilities is highly desirable.
• Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health status.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for client assistance.
• Familiarity with home health practices and hospice care principles is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
