Job description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Airtable Administrator to design, build, and maintain our Airtable databases, streamline workflows, and create seamless integrations with Zapier. This role will play a critical part in optimizing our data management processes and ensuring ongoing database health. The ideal candidate is proficient in Airtable, experienced in automation tools like Zapier, and capable of managing database updates, troubleshooting, and user support.

Key Responsibilities:

Airtable Database Development:

  • Design and build Airtable databases tailored to organizational needs.
  • Create, customize, and manage tables, views, fields, and relationships.
  • Develop and implement efficient data organization strategies.

Integration and Automation:

  • Develop and maintain integrations between Airtable and other tools using Zapier or similar platforms.
  • Automate workflows to improve efficiency and minimize manual processes.
  • Monitor and optimize existing integrations to ensure reliability.

Database Maintenance and Support:

  • Perform regular database updates and maintenance to ensure data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot database and integration issues as they arise.
  • Provide user training and ongoing support to team members.
  • Implement data security measures and manage user permissions.

Collaboration and Strategy:

  • Collaborate with team members to identify data management needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Document database architecture, workflows, and processes for reference.
  • Proactively recommend new features or integrations to enhance productivity

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience building and maintaining Airtable databases.
  • Proficiency with automation tools such as Zapier (experience with Make or similar tools is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of database management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with other tools that integrate with Airtable (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace, CRM platforms).
  • Experience with workflow analysis and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of basic scripting for advanced Airtable functionality (JavaScript).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $58.39 - $59.27 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Roseville, CA 95678
