Leading IT Service Provider looking for Compliance Analyst to support and maintain compliance initiatives for our clients!

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining compliance initiatives across client environments, with a focus on infrastructure and Microsoft technologies. They will ensure that systems and processes align with internal policies, regulatory standards, and client requirements. They will partner with technical and business teams to identify risks, validate controls, and provide clear documentation to support audits.

The successful candidate will possess strong problem solving and analytical skills, be highly organized and motivated, and enjoy being part of a dynamic team.

Due to performing government work, US citizenship is a mandatory requirement for the position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in compliance assessments, gap analyses, and remediation planning across client environments.
  • Supports implementation of compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, HIPAA, ISO, etc.).
  • Reviews Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server configurations to ensure alignment with security and compliance best practices.
  • Collaborates with engineering teams to design, implement, and validate technical controls.
  • Performs periodic audits of infrastructure and Microsoft environments to evaluate compliance posture and generate detailed reports.
  • Documents evidence of compliance activities and prepares material for internal and third-party audits.
  • Tracks and reports on remediation status of non-compliance issues.
  • Provides compliance guidance to clients and internal staff regarding regulatory requirements.
  • Contributes to automation and process improvements in compliance reporting and evidence collection.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server environments, including identity, security, and infrastructure services.
  • 1-3 years of experience applying compliance frameworks such as CMMC, NIST, CIS, or HIPAA, including mapping controls, supporting audits, and assisting with remediation activities.
  • Professional certifications (CCP, Security+, Microsoft 365 Security Administrator, Azure Security Engineer) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Intune, and Microsoft Defender solutions.
