Job description
Minimum/General Experience: Three (3) years’ experience, including two years of related CS and INFOSEC
technical experience. The Information Analyst provides technical analysis for CS support and integration efforts and
performs analysis of A&A documentation for DOD or Navy RDT&E or operational systems, networks and
applications, and COTS INFOSEC product evaluation and related documentation. The Information Analyst shall
have a minimum four (2) years’ experience in CS/ A&A analysis support in CS controls analysis, conducting risk
assessments, risk mitigation analysis, developing contingency plans. 1 years’ experience working in/with eMASS or
other enterprise level A&A tool.
a. The Information Analyst shall have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
a.1. Demonstrated knowledge of CS/INFOSEC concepts and requirements.
a.2. Knowledge of the DoD A&A process and standards.
a.3. System/network vulnerability analysis.
a.4. Risk assessment and risk mitigation analysis.
a.5. Security, Test, and Evaluations (ST&E).
a.6. Contingency planning.
a.7. Firewall Policy
a.8. Ports & Protocols
a.9. RMF process
b. DoD Cyberspace work role: Systems Security Analyst (461); proficiency level: Intermediate IAW DoDM 8140
series.
