Job description
BEL Network Integration & Support (BELNIS) provides our clients with Managed & Cybersecurity Services, Data Backup & Recovery, Help Desk, Compliance, Office 356 and Incident Response Planning Services. We have an exceptional client retention rate that is due to our staff’s commitment to our guiding core values. We are seeking an experienced Help Desk System Administrator to join or team! This role is primarily remote, however, working at our office in Chester on Tuesdays is required as is traveling to client sites around the Richmond area as needed.
The Level II Help Desk System Administrator is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving escalated technical issues as well as handling the physical installation, configuration, and connectivity of servers, workstations and networking equipment. Specific duties include the below:
· Providing remote and in-person technical support for escalated issues.
· Providing hands-on technical support for the installation, configuration, and connectivity of servers, workstations, and networking equipment.
· Performing on-site diagnostics and maintenance on infrastructure components.
· Configuring and troubleshooting switches, firewalls and access points.
· Trouble shooting and resolving issues with server patching, firmware upgrades and infrastructure optimization that have been escalated.
· Supporting Microsoft 365 migrations, AD management and backup recovery testing.
· Working directly with clients in a professional manner in-person, via phone and electronically.
· Collaborating with internal teams to ensure service continuity.
Qualifications
· College degree or equivalent work experience
· Strong problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot
· Customer facing experience
· Ability to understand scripting languages such as shell and PowerShell
· Good documentation skills and attention to detail while documenting
· Ability to work from home in a noise-free environment
· One to two years working with PSA/RMM in help desk setting
· Two or more years working as entry-mid level server support
· Technically savvy and ability to quickly learn new software programs
· CompTIA and MS-900 certifications is a plus
Pay: $52,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
