Job description

About Us

We’re a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) dedicated to helping small and medium-sized businesses manage, secure, and improve their IT infrastructure. Our current team includes one Network Administrator and one Technician, and we’re looking to add another skilled Network Administrator to help us scale and support our expanding client base.

This position is ideal for a technically strong, customer-focused IT professional who’s passionate about problem-solving, cyber-security, process improvement, and helping clients succeed.

Position Overview

As our Network Administrator, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day support of our clients’ networks, systems, and IT infrastructure. You’ll work directly with clients to diagnose and resolve issues, design and implement improvements, and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

You’ll also take a leadership role in mentoring and managing our Technician(s), developing and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and assisting in onboarding new clients.

Our ideal candidate is technically sharp, an excellent communicator, and excited to grow with our company as we continue to expand.

  • Manage and update client IT systems, including servers, firewalls, switches, access points, and VoIP systems.
  • Lead and support our technician by delegating tasks, providing training, and assisting with escalated issues.
  • Develop, document, and refine processes & procedures to ensure efficient and consistent service delivery.
  • Work directly with clients to identify needs, propose solutions, and quote IT improvement projects (hardware, security cameras, access control, phone systems, etc.).
  • Oversee onboarding for new clients, ensuring all systems are configured for support and monitoring.
  • Communicate respectfully and effectively with clients to build trust, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must Have)

  • 3+ years of experience in network administration or similar IT support role (MSP experience preferred)

  • Experience with backup solutions, cybersecurity practices, and endpoint management.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud-based systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — comfortable interacting directly with clients.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently or in a team.
  • Leadership experience or interest in mentoring and managing technical staff.
  • Growth mindset — eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to company success.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
