Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Product Manager to lead a product category encompassing strategy, financial performance, roadmap development, and pricing. This individual will bring deep expertise across laser technology, software development, ERP integration, and user experience (UX) design.

Responsibilities

• Lead product category strategy, including P&L responsibility, revenue targets, profitability, and lifecycle management.
• Build and execute product roadmaps informed by customer insights, market analysis, and technical feasibility.
• Develop pricing strategies aligned with cost structures, market expectations, and competitive positioning.
• Conduct research to understand market segments, competitive technologies, and emerging trends, translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to address market needs and maintain differentiation.
• Work closely with engineering, operations, and sourcing on cost optimization initiatives to support competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on product messaging, launch plans, and materials that highlight technical advantages.
• Provide technical support and product expertise to channel partners and internal teams, including delivery of product training.
• Guide engineering teams on the development and optimization of software for laser-based marking systems, leveraging knowledge of laser physics and system integration.
• Oversee workflow automation, firmware updates, and customization efforts in collaboration with development teams.
• Lead integration efforts between marking systems and ERP platforms to enable seamless connectivity and data synchronization.
• Work closely with developers and UX designers to ensure intuitive software interfaces, benchmarking user experiences against competitors and incorporating customer feedback into product enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, computer science, optical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management.
• Strong understanding of industrial laser systems; experience with laser-based marking or engraving technologies is advantageous.
• Knowledge of software architecture, firmware development, and applications used to control hardware systems.
• Familiarity with UX/UI methodologies, design best practices, and modern design tools.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
