Cloud Architect
Location: Denver, CO; St. Louis, MO; or Charlotte, NC
Job Type: Full-time, Contractor
About the Role
At NETbuilder, we’re looking for Senior Consultants with hands-on expertise in Google Cloud to help clients design, build, and optimize modern cloud solutions.
You’ll work closely with clients to design, build, and optimize GCP solutions, leveraging your cloud engineering experience to deliver secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in architecting cloud-native environments and supporting the full lifecycle of GCP transformation projects.
What You’ll Do
· Design and implement GCP-based infrastructure solutions
· Collaborate with customers to optimize cloud adoption and scalability
· Support automation and infrastructure-as-code practices
· Lead conversations around GCP architecture and best practices
· Work across multidisciplinary teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
· Contribute to cloud security, cost optimization, and compliance initiatives
· Implement observability and monitoring solutions using GCP Operations Suite, Prometheus, or Grafana
· Support containerized and serverless workloads (Kubernetes, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions)
What You Bring
· 3–5 years of GCP consulting experience
· Strong background in GCP networking, compute, and automation
· Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
· Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python or similar)
· Strong consultative skills and ability to engage with stakeholders
· Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
· Familiarity with GitOps tools and modern deployment practices
· Understanding of cloud security, IAM, and secrets management
