Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic data team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving our data-driven decision-making processes by developing advanced analytics solutions, building predictive models, and uncovering actionable insights that impact our business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Modeling & Analysis: Design, develop, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models to solve complex business problems.
- Data Exploration: Conduct thorough data exploration to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within large datasets.
- Algorithm Development: Create and optimize machine learning algorithms to support business objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Business Analytics, to ensure data-driven solutions align with company goals.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and analysts.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI to incorporate best practices and tools into the team's workflow.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related role.
- Must be Chinese Mandarin fluent.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
- Hands-on experience with big data tools like Spark, Hadoop, or similar.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to approach and solve complex problems creatively and effectively.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Publications or contributions to the data science community.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
