Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security of our systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of various technologies, including cloud services, operating systems, and development tools. The IT Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's technology needs and enhancing overall productivity.

Responsibilities

  • System Maintenance and Upkeep:

· Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software.

· Managing servers, network equipment, and other IT infrastructure components.

· Ensuring system integrity and stability.

  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

· Identifying and resolving technical issues, both hardware and software.

· Providing technical support to users.

  • Security Management:

· Monitoring network performance and security.

· Implementing and maintaining security measures.

· Managing user accounts and access rights.

  • Data Backup and Recovery:

· Performing regular backups and developing disaster recovery plans.

· Restoring data and systems in case of failures.

  • Performance Optimization:

· Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement.

· Optimizing IT infrastructure for efficiency and productivity.

  • Other Duties:

· Providing user training on new hardware and software.

· Staying up-to-date on the latest IT technologies and trends.

· Collaborating with other IT professionals and vendors.

Experience

  • Proven experience in IT administration or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems and their management.
  • Understanding security threats and how to protect systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and virtualization.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment tools.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages.
  • Understanding of load balancing techniques and network management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • While not always required, a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field can be an asset.

  • Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
  • VMware ESXi 7 or higher
  • Veeam Backup and Replication
  • Microsoft 365 Administration including Exchange Online, Entra ID, MFA
  • Microsoft Server 2019 and higher, Windows 10 and higher
  • Knowledge of Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Cisco Switches
  • Dell servers and workstations
  • Ubiquiti Wi-Fi Infrastructure
  • Crystal Reports
  • Knowledge of ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity best practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $69,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
