Role Overview
We’re looking for an IT Director who can lead both strategically and operationally. You’ll be responsible for setting a long-term vision for the company’s technology infrastructure while ensuring that day-to-day IT operations remain secure, efficient, and responsive.
This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, collaborative, and ready to build a forward-thinking IT department that supports business growth, digital transformation, and company-wide efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a 5-year IT roadmap aligned with business growth and scalability goals.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies that improve performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives, including automation and AI adoption.
- Act as the primary liaison between IT and all departments, aligning technology with business needs.
Budget & Vendor Management
- Own the IT budget, make purchasing decisions, and manage vendor relationships within approved limits.
- Present strategic investments and off-budget proposals to upper leadership for approval.
Infrastructure & Systems Oversight
- Manage and optimize the company’s cloud environment (AWS) and corporate infrastructure.
- Oversee operations of Infor CloudSuite ERP — prior experience is not required but highly valued.
- Supervise additional systems including Office 365, 3CX, QuickBooks, PassPortal, biometric data, and more.
- Lead ongoing improvement of system processes, user training, and documentation.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Lead the development of company-wide IT security policies and protocols.
- Monitor threats, oversee incident response, and coordinate with third-party security partners as needed.
- Ensure full compliance and proactive risk management of data and system access.
People Management
- Directly manage and support a growing IT team (1–2 staff), including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Foster a proactive, service-oriented culture within the IT department.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT leadership or management.
- Demonstrated experience in cloud computing (preferably AWS), cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
- Prior experience with Infor CloudSuite is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives while maintaining reliable IT operations.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.

Work Environment
- HQ located in Barceloneta, PR.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
