Job Summary:

Philip J. Boren is looking for a passionate, organized, and driven individual to join our skilled team as a Software Developer.

The Software Developer develops, test, deploy, and maintain the services that transform raw retail data into meaningful insight for brands selling on Amazon, Costco, Wayfair, and other channels. The role focuses on hands-on Python development in Azure, building data pipelines and integrations that power internal dashboards and decision-making tools.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Build, test, deploy, and maintain Python services in Azure to support business needs
• Scope, document, and test solutions across each phase of the development lifecycle
• Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., Amazon Seller/Vendor Central) with internal databases
• Monitor performance, review logs, and resolve errors to ensure uptime and data accuracy
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate requirements into clean, maintainable software
• Automate repetitive tasks and keep the continuous-integration pipeline healthy

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Python (PowerShell a plus)
• Experience with Azure serverless services and micro-service architectures
• Strong understanding of source control and CI/CD workflows
• Competence in web scraping/data ingestion techniques
• Proven Microsoft Fabric experience

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Three or more years of relevant software-development experience

The ideal candidate will be available to physically work in our Bellevue, WA. office, but Philip J. Boren will also consider remote candidates.
