Position Overview

We are a mid-size, privately held healthcare organization seeking a hands-on IT Administrator to lead our IT infrastructure. This role requires a strong technical leader who is comfortable working onsite and directly supporting systems, hardware, and end users.

Key Responsibilities

· Reviewand manage the organization’s overall IT infrastructure

· Maintain and support servers, SAN, firewalls, networking, and security systems

· Manage cloud-based phone/VoIP systems

· Oversee antivirus, endpoint protection, server maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery

· Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and tablets

· Ensure compliance with data security, cybersecurity, privacy, and governance standards

· Partner with business leaders to optimize workflows and improve system integration across departments

· Lead digital transformation and automation initiatives to increase operational efficiency

· Manage vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and performance in a timely and cost-effective manner

· Establish IT governance, documentation, and best practices

· Oversee in-office technology, platforms, procurement, user experience, and help desk operations

· Champion innovation initiatives, including evaluation of emerging technologies such as AI and digital platforms

· Develop and implement a forward-looking technology strategy aligned with organizational objectives

Requirements

· Proven IT leadership experience (IT Manager, or similar role)

· Strong hands-on experience with:

  • o Servers, SAN, firewalls, and networking
  • o End-user hardware (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, tablets)
  • o Antivirus and endpoint security

· HIPAA knowledge preferred

· Ability to work primarily onsite with limited remote flexibility

· Strong knowledge of information systems design, data processing, and system integration

· Working knowledge of software and hardware standards, system maintenance, and support

· Excellent interpersonal, managerial, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with leadership, staff, and vendors
