Job Title: Grants Data Analyst

Contract Duration: 12 months

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Grants Data Analyst to support grant research, data analysis, and proposal development efforts. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in grant writing or fundraising who can translate data and technical requirements into clear, compelling grant narratives. You will work independently as a contractor while collaborating with internal stakeholders to support funding initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and analyze grant opportunities aligned with organizational goals
• Support the development and review of grant proposals, applications, and supporting documentation
• Analyze grant-related data to track funding opportunities, submissions, and outcomes
• Translate technical and IT-related requirements into clear, fundable grant language
• Maintain accurate records using grant databases, spreadsheets, and project management tools
• Support compliance, reporting, and documentation requirements throughout the grant lifecycle

Required Experience

• Proven experience in grant writing, grant analysis, or fundraising
• Background in government, nonprofit, or technology-driven environments preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Communications, or a related field
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Familiarity with IT concepts such as software, hardware, and cybersecurity to effectively articulate technical needs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, grant databases, and project management tools
• Excellent communication, time-management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a contract role
