Duties
- Design and develop engaging and responsive websites using HTML and CSS.
- Utilize design software (e.g., Photoshop) to create visually appealing layouts and graphics.
- Apply UX/UI design principles to enhance user experience and interface.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and ranking.
- Develop and maintain WordPress sites, ensuring functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and translate them into effective web solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in web design and digital marketing.
- Interface with local realtors to maximize sales
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
- Experience with design software such as Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles.
- Knowledge of SEO strategies and their implementation.
- Experience with WordPress development and customization.
- Excellent visual design sense and attention to detail.
- This is not a remote position
- Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to clients’ design requests.
Education & Training
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
- Experience with design software such as Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles.
- Knowledge of SEO strategies and their implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, a plus but not mandatory. Equivalent associate degree or certification may be considered.
- Familiarity with coding languages like JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or ASP is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in graphic design or web development are advantageous.
- Self-taught individuals with a solid portfolio of work are also encouraged.
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects.
- Experience in both professional and personal web design projects is valued.
- Prior work on high-profile websites is a plus but not mandatory.
