What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong backend capabilities in Django REST Framework, robust database architecture knowledge, and solid front-end experience using Vue.js. You will play a pivotal role in building and scaling internal applications, APIs, and data-driven services that enable business agility and operational efficiency.

This is a highly collaborative role interfacing with business leaders and cross-functional teams to develop end-to-end solutions—from data pipelines and storage to user-friendly dashboards and interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development (Primary Focus)

• Design, develop, and maintain robust RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
• Build and manage relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) with strong emphasis on data integrity and query optimization.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control across services.

Frontend Development

• Develop interactive, responsive user interfaces using Vue.js.
• Collaborate closely with backend and design teams to ensure seamless API integration and user experience.
• Maintain component libraries and contribute to front-end architecture decisions.

Data & Application Layer Integration

• Build internal tools to streamline data collection, reporting, and operational workflows.
• Aggregate and normalize data from multiple external and internal systems.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of data across applications.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work directly with business stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Build and deliver reports, data visualizations, or internal dashboards as needed.
• Document system architecture, data flows, and implementation details.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5+ years of full stack development experience with a strong emphasis on backend/API engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, especially within the Django/Django REST Framework ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL performance tuning.
• Professional experience with Vue.js, Vuex, and component-based UI development.
• Strong understanding of RESTful service design and web application security best practices.
• Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
• Experience with data processing libraries such as Pandas is a bonus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
