We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Dearborn, Michigan. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage, maintain, and optimize critical IT infrastructure while ensuring seamless operations across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain server hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Administer and troubleshoot on-premises network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, and software issues in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and upgrade operating system software, patches, and security updates.
- Monitor and optimize server performance, ensuring systems are running efficiently.
- Conduct system backups and recovery processes to safeguard data integrity.
- Maintain Active Directory and manage user access permissions.
- Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in systems administration or a related role.
- Proficiency with Dell technologies, including switches and networking equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory management and backup technologies.
- Experience with on prem environments and migrations, VMWare, knowledge of Network Infrastructure and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID
- ServiceNow ITSM experience would be a bonus
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex system and network issues.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
